Herd-i Southern Field Days Starlink Promotion

Terms & Conditions

  1. Purpose

This promotion is designed to support dairy farmers who sign up to Herd-i at Southern Field Days by contributing toward the cost of on-farm internet connectivity through a Starlink internet service credit.

  1. Promotion Applicability

This promotion is available only to new farms that sign a Herd-i Sales Agreement in person during Southern Field Days (11th – 13th February 2026).

The promotion applies to customers purchasing Herd-i’s Lameness system, BCS system, or both.

  1. Promotion Timeframe

This promotion is valid only for agreements signed at Southern Field Days.

Herd-i reserves the right to amend or terminate this promotion at any time. Any customer who signs an agreement on the day under this promotion will have these Terms & Conditions honoured.

  1. Eligibility

Eligibility for this promotion is subject to:

  • The farm being a new Herd-i installation, and
  • A successful on-farm assessment to confirm suitability for installation and effective operation of the Herd-i system, and
  • Standard pricing for Herd-i installation and subscription fees apply for a three-year sales agreement term.  

Final eligibility approval is at the sole discretion of Herd-i.

  1. Starlink Installation & Ownership

Where the customer does not already have Starlink installed:

  • Herd-i will arrange, and pay for, the installation of Starlink internet hardware at the cowshed at the same time as the installation of the Herd-i hardware.
  • The Starlink account, hardware, and service contract will be in the name of the customer.
  • The customer will be invoiced directly by Starlink for all Starlink charges.

Herd-i does not supply, own, operate, or guarantee the Starlink service.

  1. Starlink Credit

As part of this promotion:

  • Herd-i will apply a credit of $119.00 + GST per month toward the customer’s Starlink internet service.
  • This credit will be applied on each Herd-i subscription invoice for the 12 months following installation of the Herd-i system.
  • The credit represents a contribution only and may not fully offset the total Starlink monthly charge.
  • Any Starlink charges above $119.00 + GST per month remain the responsibility of the customer.

Where a customer chooses to pay 12 months of Herd-i subscription fees in advance, Herd-i will apply an annual Starlink credit of $1,428 + GST on that invoice.

  1. Customers with Existing Internet

Where a customer already has Starlink system installed, or is using an alternative satellite internet provider and wishes to retain that service

  • No Starlink installation will be provided by Herd-i.
  • Herd-i will apply a credit of $119 + GST per month toward the customer’s existing internet service via the Herd-i invoice.
  • Any internet charges above $119 + GST per month remain the responsibility of the customer.
  1. Promotion Duration

The Starlink credit will be applied for a maximum period of twelve (12) months from the month of Herd-i subscription invoicing commencing.  This promotion has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.

  1. Pricing & Service Disclaimer

Starlink pricing, service availability, performance, and coverage are determined solely by Starlink and may change at any time.

Herd-i is not responsible for:

  • Changes to Starlink pricing;
  • Service interruptions or outages;
  • Internet performance, latency, or coverage.
  1. Combination with Other Offers

This promotion is able to be used in conjunction with Herd-i’s “Get Ahead of the Game” deferred payment promotion.

Herd-i’s standard Terms and Conditions apply in all other respects.
