Liz Muller
Chief Executive Officer

Born and raised on a dairy farm in the Waikato, Liz has extensive experience in the agricultural and food processing sectors here in NZ and globally. She has a Bachelor of Technology and Masters in Business Administration from Massey University and has attended Stanford University’s Executive Leadership Program.

Graeme Ainsworth
Chief Technology Officer

Graeme leads Herd-i’s world-class team of software development experts. He has extensive experience at both a strategic and operational level in the technical development, successful launch and effective scaling of several SaaS-based start-up businesses. Graeme’s superpower is being able to communicate complex AI / machine learning concepts clearly and simply.

James Cummins
Marketing Director

James brings brand building and customer insights expertise from a career in senior marketing and advertising roles across FMCG & Telecommunications.  He has a Bachelor Commerce majoring in Marketing & Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (Film & Television) from the University of Otago.

Marty Orange
Sales Manager

Marty started his career in dairy farming and then transitioned into rural sales where he has established his expertise and has a proven track record in successfully working alongside dairy farmers to help them to embrace new technology on farm. Marty understands what matters most to farmers enjoys establishing long term relationships with his customers.

Maria Cassineri
Customer Success Manager

Maria started her career in dairy farming and moved off-farm to have a career in training and extension. She has extensive experience in supporting the successful adoption of on-farm technology, including her most recent role as a Training Specialist with MSD.  Maria has studies in progress towards a Diploma of Social Science (Communication) and Diploma in Agribusiness Management. 

Sol Payne
Sales Manager

Sol has extensive experience in rural IT and agritech, working across connectivity, IoT, and on-farm technologies. He has supported thousands of farmers to embrace innovation to drive productivity and growth. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Auckland University.

Director

As a seasoned strategic business lead, Karl plays a significant role in driving the business to constantly innovate to support the needs of our customers. Karl brings energy, experience, and leadership to a fast-growing team.

Peter Mitchell
Director

Peter has an extensive entrepreneurial background and a proven track record of success in building New Zealand brands from start-up businesses to global leaders in their sector.  Peter provides oversight of the commercials of the organisation and brings a commitment to deliver success for our customers.

Richard Stalker
Board Member

Richard is a dairy farmer, veterinarian with extensive experience in governance and management and agricultural businesses. Richard is milking 1,300 cows in Rangiora, and holds Directorships with Veterinary Enterprises and Waimakariri Irrigation Ltd. Richard is passionate about animal health and welfare and brings the farmers perspective to the Herd-i boardroom. He has a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Massey University.
