Herd-i Starlink Promotion

Terms & Conditions

Purpose

This promotion is designed to incentive sales and create urgency by providing new customers with “free” Starlink internet service for the first twelve (12) months – if they book an on-farm visit during March and April 2026.

Promotion Applicability

This promotion is available only to new farms sign a Herd-i Sales Agreement between 1 March 2026 and 30 April 2026.

The promotion applies to customers purchasing Herd-i’s:

  • Lameness system
  • BCS system
  • Both systems

Promotion Timeframe

This promotion is valid only for agreements signed between 1 March 2026 and 30 April 2026.

Herd-i reserves the right to amend or terminate this promotion at any time. Any customer who signs an agreement during this period under this promotion will have these Terms & Conditions honoured.

Eligibility

Eligibility for this promotion is subject to:

  • The farm being a new Herd-i installation, and
  • A successful on-farm assessment to confirm suitability for installation and effective operation of the Herd-i system, and
  • Standard pricing for Herd-i installation and subscription fees applying for a three-year sales agreement term.

Final eligibility approval is at the sole discretion of Herd-i.

Starlink Installation & Ownership

Where the customer does not already have Starlink installed:

  • Herd-i will arrange, and pay for, the installation of Starlink internet hardware at the cowshed at the same time as the installation of the Herd-i hardware.
  • The Starlink account, hardware, and service contract will be in the name of the customer.
  • The customer will be invoiced directly by Starlink for all Starlink charges.
  • Herd-i does not supply, own, operate, or guarantee the Starlink service.

Starlink Credit

As part of this promotion:

  • Herd-i will apply a credit of $119.00 + GST per month toward the customer’s Starlink internet service.
  • This credit will be applied on each Herd-i subscription invoice for the first twelve (12) months following installation of the Herd-i system.
  • If the customer selects a more expensive Starlink plan or Starlink pricing changes, any amount above $119.00 + GST per month remains the responsibility of the customer.
  • Where a customer chooses to pay 12 months of Herd-i subscription fees in advance, Herd-i will apply an annual Starlink credit of $1,428 + GST on that invoice.

Customers with Existing Internet

Where a customer already has a Starlink system installed, or is using an alternative satellite internet provider and wishes to retain that service:

  • No Starlink installation will be provided by Herd-i.
  • Herd-i will apply a credit of $119.00 + GST per month toward the customer’s existing internet service via the Herd-i invoice.
  • Any internet charges above $119.00 + GST per month remain the responsibility of the customer.

Promotion Duration

The Starlink credit will be applied for a maximum period of twelve (12) months from the month Herd-i subscription invoicing commences.

This promotion:

  • Has no cash alternative, and
  • Is non-transferable.

If the Herd-i agreement is terminated early by the customer, any remaining Starlink promotional credit will cease immediately.

Pricing & Service Disclaimer

Starlink pricing, service availability, performance, and coverage are determined solely by Starlink and may change at any time.

Herd-i is not responsible for:

  • Changes to Starlink pricing
  • Service interruptions or outages
  • Internet performance, latency, or coverage

Combination with Other Offers

This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Herd-i promotional offer unless expressly agreed by Herd-i in writing.
