Canterbury farmers, let's talk.

What does two seasons of BCS data tell us?

A Canterbury dairy farmer evening hosted by Herd-i, bringing farmers and vets together for interesting local insights, good conversation and a chance to get behind Movember!

· Wednesday 25 November 2026 · 6pm – 8pm · Dunsandel Rugby Club ·

Fancy a beer? Let’s catch up.

Get off farm for a couple of hours, enjoy a beer and a bite, and join the conversation with other Canterbury dairy farmers and vets.

Over the past two seasons, Herd-i has collected body condition data from nearly 49,000 cows across 36 Canterbury farms. Now, we’re taking a closer look at what the data is telling us.

Join veterinarians Krispin Kannan and Richard Stalker, alongside dairy farmer Heine Cronje, as we explore some interesting findings around cow condition, mating performance and what they could mean on farm.

Hosted by George Dodson, Canterbury farmer and host of the How Good’s Dairy podcast.

All Canterbury dairy farmers welcome, whether you’re using Herd-i or not.

What the evening involves:

We’re getting behind Movember, supporting men’s health and encouraging conversations that matter. Led by our Sales Manager and long-standing Movember ambassador, Matt McIntyre.

Bring along a dairy farming mate (or two!) and go into the draw to win an Icey Tek chilly bin!

Give to Movember. Herd-i gives back.

Donate on the night and Herd-i will match your donation with an equal-value credit towards a Herd-i installation or your existing subscription, up to $1,500 per farm.
